Who is Mckenna Bird?

I'm still figuring that out every day, but I do know some things. Mckenna Bird is: an artist, a volunteer, an adventure seeker, an awkward soul, a dog lover, an optimism supporter, a breakfast obsessor, the list could continue but most of all she's passionate. Passionate in her job, about her journey, and with her life.

 What did you do before modeling?

Before modeling I did a pretty average job at being a typical high schooler. If you asked my friends what I did before modeling, they would probably say that I was a devoted yearbook nerd and spent way too many hours taking pictures of high school sporting events. 

Your personal passion or hidden talents? 

I love to take pictures! There's something about being behind the camera. I like finding beauty in the mundane of every day, something that might get overlooked. You'll also find me volunteering whenever and wherever I get the chance. It makes me happy.

Ten years from now (you will be…)?

Ten years?! I feel like a psychic with a false certification. I hope I'm living and doing something I love every day, but for all I know I could be some hot dog stand owner. Just kidding, that won't happen. 

Favorite word?:

Serendipity. Events falling in place by nothing but chance and causing something good to happen, how awesome is that?

What’s no fun?

I learned getting around in New York City winters is no fun. But beautiful when enjoying from a cozy fireplace with hot tea, which was.... Never.

 Instant gratification? 

Take me into the mountains or to the beach or through the woods and I will be instantly gratified. 

Current 'eye candy'?

She's a classic but I always love to look at the photographs of Annie Leibovitz.

You can never go wrong with a black blazer.
