Who is Sarah Stephens?

A kid who fell into the fashion industry that's still figuring out what she wants to do when she grows up. I'm laid back yet somehow love living amongst the hustle and bustle that is New York City. I love making people laugh (usually at my own expense). I dance in the summertime and enjoy whiskey and wood fires in Winter. I love to travel but not so much for work. I look forward to Game of Thrones Sunday steak nights and fear for the end of such ritual. There's always a gig/concert/festival I have tickets for and someday I hope to play something other than the bass clarinet. Love taking pictures and watching movies in the bath. I belt out 90s tunes when nobody's around in preparation for the next impromptu karaoke night. I miss pizza/Adventure Time nights with my brothers and could watch YouTube videos for days.

What did you do before modeling?

I was in high school earning my pocket money delivering the people of Wahroonga their newspapers on my bike.

Your personal passion or hidden talents?

Acting is what I'm most passionate about, I've just shot my first film and aching to do more. I also enjoy putting on ridiculous accents for a laugh and will maintain the accent until my boyfriend threatens to leave. I can belt out the odd tune on bass clarinet and I'm not bad at kick boxing and beat boxing. I love learning languages, especially French & Italian (even though I've been pretty slack keeping it up). I definitely think I've got some moves on the dance floor and when it comes to fancy dress I commit. I also love photography, enjoy clever puns and rhyme time.

Ten years from now (you will be…)?

Happy. A mother with a happy family that finally has it all figured out. Hopefully a few films under my belt and prepping for my next role starring alongside Cate Blanchett.

Favorite word?:

Malheureusement - It means unfortunately in French. For no other reason than I just loved sounding it out in school and still do.

What’s no fun?

Height of summer waiting for the 6 train. The MTA needs to install some sort of Sprinkler Mister or something. Walking down those subway steps to that green line is like entering the gates of hell.

Chris Hemsworth's voice. Oh, and my boyfriend's a bit of alright I guess...

Something 'Timeless'?

Photographs - Kind of cliche but it's what I do and what I love. I prefer capturing candid moments or working with friends like Gavin that I'm comfortable with and trust. That's when I expose my true crazy self and let loose. I have great appreciation for those that acknowledge and capture that perfect moment and do it justice. Even more impressed when I can look back on a photograph and can distinctly remember what I was thinking, feeling or doing that day. In the end, that's what photographs are. Memories. And fond memories captured well. Timeless.
