DYLAN ARMSTRONG: " I’D CALL MYSELF A GOOD MIX WHEN IT COMES TO CHARACTER AND I EASILY ADAPT TO MY ENVIRONMENT."
19th May 2014
Who is Dylan Armstrong?
Hi I’m Dylan, I was born in South Africa where I spent half my childhood and then the other half in Spain. I’m a thinker and always curious when feeling motivated and trying to understand my interests/hobbies. I’d call myself a good mix when it comes to character and I easily adapt to my environment. I speak three languages and hoping to learn a fourth.
What did you do before modeling?
Before modeling I was in school and doing odd jobs. I lived with a South African movie producer before going to work in Europe for a Swiss company where I was the assistant to the CEO and part of international projects.
Your personal passion or hidden talents?
My personal interests are product/interior design and music production/djing. I’m always wanting to learn and I enjoy spending my free time creating either fine art or music pieces.
Ten years from now (you will be…)?
In 10 year from now I’d like to see myself being a successful model with frequent bookings from clients, an established music producer/live performer and/or being able to build products that integrate into peoples homes/lives seamlessly whilst giving it esthetic as well as functional improvements.
Favorite word?:
I don’t really have a single word, I have a phrase: 'COME ON'.
Yeah I use it a lot, when I want things done, something goes wrong, I’m irritated, a person can’t get my point, pretty much everything...
What’s no fun?
People that aren’t able to take a boring situation and turn it into a fun one.
Instant gratification?
Coming home to a comfortable bed after a long busy day.
Current 'eye candy'?
This is current and I feel it will always stay current because so far it has to me; PORSCHE 911 TARGA (1989).
Something 'Timeless'?
Again I’m gonna have to with the Porsche, but if you would prefer a different answer to the last then I'll go deep and say the feeling of losing something or someone dear to you.
A quote that sums you up:
“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”
