Who is Makayla 'Mak' Harmon?

Well, I’m from Dallas, born and raised. I am crazy and very outspoken about things that bother me. I am at first a little quiet, I try to feel the room figure out what is and isn’t appropriate to say and do. But after a full day with me you will know a lot about me.

 What did you do before modeling?

Before modeling I played volleyball competitively for many years. I was apart of a team that would travel around Texas, and the US, playing in tournaments on the weekends.

Your personal passion or hidden talents? 

My passion is traveling. I love going to new places and seeing new things. Never for very long though, I thrive off of spontaneity.

Ten years from now (you will be…)?

Ten years from now I like to think that I have settled down into a life that I would be proud of, whether that’d be continuing to model, or working a full time job, either way, I plan to look back on life with no regrets.

Favorite word?

My favorite word is legendary, because every time I hear or say that word it puts a smile on my face, brings me back to simpler days when I was a kid watching movies and TV shows with my family.

What’s no fun?

Restrictions, when someone tells me I can’t do something, or if a sign says I can’t do something, that makes me want to do it that much more.

 Instant gratification? 

Dallas. Every time I go home its like this weight has been lifted off my shoulders, when I go home the whole first night I can’t stop smiling, I go to the same restaurants that will always be my favorite, I see all my friends that I’ve know since I was a child. I get to see my family and we talk for hours.

Current 'eye candy'?

Lights, light shows to me are the ultimate eye candy, I can watch light shows all night!

Something 'Timeless'?

My timeless piece is this dress that I will *knock on wood* wear forever, it’s a dress made by Alexander Wang, and to me it’s the very definition of timeless. It’s beautifully made, cut at the perfect length, it’s a dress that even guys can look at and say “that dress is perfect.”
